A collection of keepsakes, discoveries and memoirs of a digital traveller.
I intend to post every Wednesday with potential extra article on Sundays, I would love suggestions people have for research topics!
Thank you for coming to my site, for now it's barren but I will quickly get it up to scratch. My names Jake and I chose Neocities to give this page an old school HTML feel, and so I can use my developing HTML knowledge to have full control over the site and how it works. Something that isn't as easily done with more "modern" tools.
I intend this to be a collection of pieces ranging from opinion to factual deep dives on what it can be like to navigate the digital world in the 2020s and beyond. This is done expressly with the intention of building a balance between getting the most out of the internet and investing in yourself away from your screen. How to use the computers that connect us in a safe and secure way and to learn more about what it means to be human in an always-on, always connected digital age.
